Medical Informatics, Telemedicina & E-Health: Avanzado
Move from foundations to applied informatics — terminology mapping, HL7 FHIR R4/R5 interoperability, telehealth program design, and the applied FDA, CMS, and state frameworks that govern digital-health products.
Recommended prerequisite: completion of the Introductorio level for this training, or relevant professional experience subject to Aleph University review.
The Avanzado level of the Aleph Medical Informatics, Telemedicina & E-Health course track is for professionals who already have the foundations covered and need to develop the applied skills the digital-health, clinical-informatics, and telemedicine industries expect: terminology mapping across SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm, and ICD-10; HL7 FHIR R4/R5 interoperability strategy and resource design; clinical-data-quality evaluation; telehealth-program design integrating clinical workflow with EHR integration via FHIR; applied FDA Software as a Medical Device and Software Functions premarket work; applied CMS Medicare Part B telehealth reimbursement reasoning; applied state telemedicine practice (licensure, prescribing, standard of care); and AI in clinical informatics including clinical decision support, NLP, and deep-learning models with awareness of the FDA AI/ML PCCP Final Guidance (December 2024).
This 32-hour Curso de Certificación Profesional builds directly on the 16-hour Introductorio level (`HIM-622-I`). It does not repeat the orientation material. Where the Introductorio level introduces SNOMED CT and the other vocabularies at orientation depth, the Avanzado level conducts applied terminology-mapping exercises and reasons through clinical-data-quality issues. Where the Introductorio level introduces FDA SaMD at orientation depth, the Avanzado level applies the framework to a chosen digital-health product. The course culminates in a telehealth-program-design course exercise — a portfolio-grade artifact in which the participant designs a telehealth program for a chosen clinical condition, with the clinical workflow, the EHR-integration architecture via FHIR, the FDA / CMS / state regulatory framing, and the evaluation plan documented.
Graduates of the Avanzado course are positioned for applied work in clinical-informatics teams at health systems, in telehealth operations and program-management roles, in digital-health product organizations (telehealth platforms, RPM companies, mobile-medical-applications startups, clinical-decision-support vendors), and in regulatory-affairs and reimbursement consultancies. The telehealth-program-design capstone exercise is a portfolio-grade artifact that demonstrates working command of the clinical, technical, and regulatory dimensions of a telehealth deployment.
Los participantes que cumplan los requisitos de finalización del curso reciben un Certificado de Finalización emitido por Aleph University.
