Descripción general

The Avanzado level of the Aleph Gestión de Riesgos para Dispositivos Médicos course track is for professionals who already have the ISO 14971 vocabulary and process orientation covered and need to develop the applied skills the medical-device industry expects: authoring a Risk Management Plan that defines scope, responsibilities, acceptability criteria, and methodologies; conducting hazard identification using top-down (Hazard Analysis) and bottom-up (FMEA, FTA) methods; estimating severity (Catastrophic / Critical / Serious / Moderate / Negligible) and probability using documented rubrics; applying the risk-control hierarchy (inherent safety by design → protective measures → information for safety); integrating IEC 62366-1 usability engineering with risk management; performing residual-risk evaluation with ALARP reasoning; mining the FDA MAUDE database for post-market signals; and authoring a Risk Management File and Risk Management Report for a chosen device.

This 32-hour Curso de Certificación Profesional builds directly on the 16-hour Introductorio level (`RAQ-530-I`). It does not repeat the ISO 14971 vocabulary orientation. Where the Introductorio level identifies FMEA and FTA at orientation depth, the Avanzado level conducts both methods on a chosen device. Where the Introductorio level identifies the risk-control hierarchy, the Avanzado level applies it with verification of effectiveness documented. The course culminates in the authoring of a Risk Management File and Risk Management Report — portfolio-grade artifacts that demonstrate working command of the discipline.

Author a Risk Management Plan that defines scope, responsibilities, acceptability criteria, and methodologies.
Conduct hazard identification using top-down (Hazard Analysis) and bottom-up (FMEA, FTA) methods on a chosen device.
Estimate severity and probability using documented rubrics, with each dimension scored independently.
Apply the ISO 14971 risk-control hierarchy (inherent safety by design → protective measures → information for safety) to a chosen device.
Categorize use-related, production, and post-production risks and integrate IEC 62366-1 usability engineering with risk management.
Compile a Risk Management File and Risk Management Report per ISO 14971 §10.
Critique real device-failure cases and recommend risk-control strategies.
Establish post-production monitoring procedures that feed field data back into the risk-management cycle.
